Yhdysvaltain elokuva-akatemia julkisti Oscar-ehdokkuudet tänään. Eniten ehdokkuuksia, huimat 13 kappaletta, sai odotetusti Christopher Nolanin Oppenheimer. Yorgos Lanthimoksen Poor Things sai 11 ehdokkuutta, Martin Scorsesen Killers of the Flower Moon 10, tosin ohjaajalegenda jäi ilman käsikirjoitusehdokkuutta. Barbenheimer-ilmiön toinen puolisko, Greta Gerwigin Barbie, sai kahdeksan ehdokkuutta, mukaan lukien parhaasta elokuvasta, mutta jäi vaille ehdokkuuksia ohjauksesta ja Margot Robbien pääosaroolista.
